A simple thing to move your nutrition, health, and wellness needle in the right direction is to throw out seed oils and replace them with Avocado Oil (Chosen brand is the only avocado oil that is 100% only avocado oil. Some other brands have other oils in there) and use Cold Pressed Olive oil (make sure it doesn’t have any other oils sneaked into it). Olive oil is great for brain fuel and Avocado oil is a healthy fat that our body needs. Seed oils are the cheap stuff that is bad for us that they’ve been trying to sell us for years and we’ve used. In simple terms, oils extracted from seeds are referred to as seed oils. The most popular seed oils that are used commercially are Canola (or Rapeseed), Corn, Cottonseed, Soy, Sunflower, Safflower, Grapeseed and Rice bran. While extracting the oil, the seeds go through a long process of refining which makes the oils highly refined, leaving hardly any nutritional value in them.
All seed oils are quite high in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) that can cause inflammation and toxin accumulation in the body. On top of that, when exposed to high heat or reheated multiple times, these oils can turn toxic and cause greater harm to the human body.
